I found an Atmega program that seems to be a Rom 102 rev 240 not using the NW-25 fix like the others on the net, released Nov 8, but havn't been able to figure out what TSOP I should write to my receiver, if any for it to work. It is supposed to be a dealer dump of the atmega. The receiver field is all disabled in the file, but you can edit them in jeepers so they are not locked. keys needed to be updated as the KEY1 was a bit off of what the keys are now. Any help??
I programmed the card, but its giving me error 20 - not for use in this receiver. I assume that I need to update the TSOP to be compatible with the card, and maybe make some headway. I found a compatible TSOP build for a 2800 receiver, and 2700/2700/2800 is all identical right? if I get brazen I might try a whole TSOP reflash and see how it goes, I think that I would have to modify the IRD # of the TSOP though to match the programs? This is my grey area as I only ever wrote TSOP's 2 times and nearly ruined the receiver the first.

I don't think it will be that easy .I could be out in left field here looking at my shoe's ,But what's needed is a way for "Atmega to emu a R102....and the base format like the old nnw.You could put any created pfg on a "Atmega" .But without the "Base Format" like an nnw it may not work.Just a guess...! all the best.I think soon though something will happen...hehehe.

well, it gives error 20 on fw 820p. I know that I should be running 834p, but too lazy to let it stream, and hoping that the old stuff will work for this. Error 020 usually means that the IRD # isn't correct. I entered the IRD number of my receiver, the box key and left the CAM field blank and saved the file, loaded it up in jeepers and full montied it. I am thinking that a TSOP edited correctly would get somewhere with this file, appearently it has some nnw-25 strings in it, but is far different than the other ones released 2 weeks ago or so. I can't check to see what the IRD sees the card as, because its telling me its the wrong card and won't let me go further. I will try another atmega flash without editing anything in the file. Ultimatly it will have to be a TSOP edit like the Rom10's I believe.. I am patient, and I don't know how or what to hex on my TSOP to make it work. Someone might have the ability to get this up and running. At least I know that the 2700 series can be brought back using old technology, just have to wait until all the old technology is figured out.

It's not just a T-sop problem. The Emulation of an "Atmega" is different .That's why It would stay up so long when people with "plastic" were allway's fixing thing's.I believe it will come ,It should have been here already, looking at the "FTA".

Its done. :) might not be a Rom10 spoof, but the atmegas are back up and user-programmable!
