For newbs who may be joining us in progress, here's an up-to-date (or not) bulletin...Pls note that though I could not code my way out of a paper bag I do consider myself a scientific gatherer of information
AVR-X: Works, although maybe not right this sec (solution soon come). Soldering involved but hey that could be fun! Problems might include: availability * software • acts of god * getting it rigged to your specific reciever
Syndrome: Works apparently. Problems might include: availability * not for sale on this site, the reason being that they wanted 45 grand from Mili up front and Mili said no. And of course the reason we're here is cuz for better or worse we trust Mili
Atmega 128: Works but right now can only be obtained from dealers, who are charging too much (though charging "too much" is, of course, a situationist perspective). Free version will/probably will/might be/ available shortly.
Rom 10: Works thanks to the work of Penga et al. Recommendation: Go to CC and register and follow the long thread of how they made N2 run on Rom 10....it's better than watching TV! !
Problems: Hard to figure for newbs, doesn't autoroll....may, nay, will go down...
oh wait a minute, all of them may go down at any minute :)
