Hi Guys,

I just got a 301-10 receiver which I would like to jtag. I currently have a 7 pin jtag (including ground). I noticed that there is no cut-out on the bottom of this 301. I removed the top cover and found the EJtag. How would I be able to jtag this receiver?

Thanks

What should I do, in order to be able to jtag this 301-10 without the hole cut at the bottom of the receiver?

Thanks.

If you have a 14 pin header . solder it in topside jtag and you will be ready to go. Make sure you solder it in the right direction.

you can either lift the board and bottom jtag or solder a top jtag

Or cut a slot in the bottom so that you can bottom jtag like other IRDs(so I'm told).

You are right Cimba I had to cut a J-Tag hole in the botton of several and it works fine, just take the board out first so you don't get any metal shit on the PC board and short something out.

The old boards had holes, the newer ones don't so you got a newer model.

the problem is cutting the hole in the exact place (if you are gonna use a pogo pin jtag)

Thanks....I have already cut a hole in the bottom of the receiver. Are the jtags that are compatible with the 2800 compatible with the 301-10? Thanks.

bottom pads in pic or even better the case like I always use. if motherboard has been removed from case use the grounding strips along the sides of the motherboard or around the srcew holes on the MB

Picture is shown with the back at the top of the picture

I forgot the newer 301 dont have those vent holes on the side like the picture does
