4000 won't take update

tried junkyard fix but ird won't take any updates, bev or charlie.using a good cam image.please any ideas wuold be greatly appreciated.

idr was dn but after jumpering pad 1 and 16 for 5-8 sec. i put it in the bev stream for 2 days and nothing.does the cam have to be in ird and prog. with bev image because that is what i did but still won't take update

after jumpering the idr just seems to lock up ,inserting or removing cam seems to have no effect.is there a step by step to fix this unit.i do have a backup flash with updated f/w. but can't reprogram tsop without a jtag port.

do you have any idea what the latest f/w for bev 4000 ird is.

you're absloutely about the x000 series.but i'm just experminting with this unit.it finally took the bev update ,thanks for the help.
