How to write to 301.013?

How do I read and write to a 301.013? When I try to save the tsop, it goes up to 10% and will stop. I have vid mod on but it still does this. Oh I seen something weird when I detect for boxkeys, my software is XXXX but every thing else shows up. Could it be that i have a bad connection on my Jtag?

i was wondering if u could help me. i have a dual, and i used jkeys 2.9 to read with no problems or errors. can i use this version to flash aswell, or do i need to use the jkeys3100c. also, like i said, i had no errors reading, do i really need the ground?

If it reads the flash, it should have no problem writing it. The wrong version of JKeys wouldn't read it.

My 301.013 dual will NOT jtag without R79 grounded. DCU Peek errors. Not sure what's in there, but this one doesn't allow anyone to look at its DCU.:)

thanks. i guess i'm having a hard time understanding y my dual is so eazy. i have had no issues with it like the one's i read about. i guess just luck.

stupid question...u12 is flash 1 and u10 is flash 2?

Ok I was wrong about the software being wrong it is the boot strap is whats XXXX out everything else shows up right. All my 301.013s are giving me this. Maybe there's something wrong with my Jtag cable. Oh by the way I am using the RJ45 setup for Jtaging.

Ok I found my problem, it was a old version of jkeys 301.013b, so i downloaded the new version 301c and everything shows up right. But I ran into another problem. I saved my tsop and erased the flash 3 times, then I went to program it with a modded 301.013 tsop that will work with the rom 10 fix. I was doing fine until it got a 99% then it said error programing flash at offset 0x7ffffao (i think thats what it said will check in morning).

Common occurence when there's a problem with the Vidmod. Double check it. You wouldn't be the first one to think you had it on, when it was actually switched off - or something may have come loose inside the receiver.

Actually, your receiver should work anyway. That remaining 1 % is an area of the TSOP that not even Charlie writes to, so ignore it and proceed normally. It will most likely work just fine.

You need put 9 volt to chip side before write all info
did you do vid mod .your self original on rec

dont put more voltage then>>
measure the voltage at SB35, it should be approximately 3.3v
