Hi,
I have a legit *** 6000 that has been giving me video problems.When i am watching it the picture will get a jolt of multiple colors for a second or 2 then it goes away.Sometimes it happens frequently and sometimes it may be good for an hour or so.Rather then take it in and pay right now to have it fixed(if it can be) i was thinking of using my Dish 6000 that is not being used right now.It has the 8VSB & 8PSK Module installed.Can i modify it to clone my *** so i can take my card out of the *** unit and use it in the Dish 6000 ?Do the build conf have to match ?I know how to modify tsops but i seem to remember that if the modules are installed then it won't work with ***.Anyone confirm ?
