he all, i have a 501 and just before nag 1 went down, the unit was working just fine. then one sunday afternoon, i got the "pixelation" thing like when it is raining heavy. the sat signal lost pop up came up for a minute, then went away and picture/sound was back. the unit does that all the time now. you can only watch tv for about 10 seconds and the same crap happens! i have since modded it for the new rom 10 fix and the mod works fine, but sat signal comes and goes again. i ran a check switch, and it finds a DP Quad, the head is actually a DP Twin and the 301.010 in the living room finds the twin just fine. if you go to the sat signal screen in the setup and put it on 119, you can just watch the signal meter go from 108% to 0% every few seconds. the 110 signal stays a t 102% constantly. any ideas why the 119 signal fades in and out? thanks for the help.
