strange 301.013 single tsop

I have successfully modded at least 15 IRDs in the last week to make them run on rom 10s. The only IRD I have a problem with is my own (go figure!!) Other single chip 013s I have done worked perfectly. This one writes the TSOP and virgin eeprom files just fine (have actually tried a number of different ones). When I put it back in the data stream it acquires signal but the information box for acquiring the signal is in spanish instead of english. Once the signal is acquired and the guide is successfully downloaded it goes to channel 101 where I get a blank white menu box in the middle of the screen that says "attention" in English (it has apparently switched languages now) at the top but has nothing else in the box. It eventually disappears showing the preview channel 101 but the remote will not work with it. I reprogrammed the remote with every code from 01 to 15 and same thing. If I use the channel up and down buttons on the front of the IRD I can go to any channel which now shows the title strip at the top in English and the channel comes in with good sound. But still no remote control. Anyone know how to fix this problem and possibly explain what is causing it to happen on this particular IRD??????

Wrote a virgin eeprom matching the build config of the board. No problem writing it. The menu 3 button is supposed to bring up the system info screen but as I mentioned above the remote does not function at all. When I pull the card to force the system info screen it shows the border of the menu but the center area is just white with no text showing.

I have a 301-013 that I screwed up. I tried to do the rom10 to 102 fix and someone sent me a flash but I used the wrong jkeys and only got 99%, after which no green light. it has been a week and a half now and I have located the right jkeys 301-13c and now I programed 100% and everything looks normal in jkeys. Buid, software, bootstrap etc. I erased and put my original flash and eeprom but lok luck. Any Ideas? I did the 6 sec hold on the power button, tried many times connecting and disconnecting power. Nothing works. I know it is something stupid.

Try the new flash the guy sent to you again. This time be sure to open the vid mod switch and apply the 12 volts to the protected sector, flash using jkeys 301-3100 def file. Be sure to ground the dcu peak error pad when u flash the tsop. This should take you to 100%. If the guy sent u the correct information, u should be able to watch TV. Good Luck.
