Here is my question when dish hits and we all know they will.Do you think the new fixes for Atmega and Rom 10 will be just updates on the cards or will we have to go through the whole process again with new receiver software and new programs for the cards.Lost of people asking just don't really know what to tell them. What do you think?

If and when they hit, it is my opinion that we'll have to rewrite the cards and the tsop. Everything is based on the rsa keys for one card#/one ird#/boxkeys combination. When it goes down, we'll have to write the new stuff to all parts involved...
again, thats my opinion...
I expect to loose my rom10's that are running right now. Pretty sure Charlie will loop them beyond repair when he does hit em. If your Atmega, Syndrome or Emu, then you should be fine. Just need to update the programming most likely....assuming an update becomes available. A tsop lock will save your receiver in all cases if you have one. A point in all this that's worth noting is the Syndrome is no better than the Atmega, Emu, or rom10 in terms of avoiding ECM.

I think they will try to do as much (damage) as they can. Why make it easy to repair. I'll bet they are not too happy we are "testing" again.
Maybe they would rather we all sub? I do sub (of course) but I test the limits and (maybe) take a little more?
