I have just bought a 6000 ird and a dish 1000.
I would like to run 3 ird's 1-6000 and either 2 2700's or 2 3100's
I think that i read that the 6000 is not compatible with the dish 1000 lnb's, is this correct?
if I use a sw44 with the power inserter would that take care of the problem,or is there another adapter that I need?
can I use the 2700's or a combination of a 2700 and a 3100
which models are legacy models anyway and why the difference.
sorry about all the questions but the more i read the more confused i get.
P.S. any wiring diagrams would be great!
thanks again to all those who help!

The dish 1000 comes with a dishproplus switch with 3 inputs and 2 outputs. My understanding is it will work with the 6000 as long as the other output is on a dishpro receiver (3100), but I have not personally tried it. The SW44(legacy) won`t work because your LNB`s are dishpro. There is a DP44 that would allow you to have the 3 receivers, but may need a dishpro adaptor for the 6000. Easiest for now would be use it as is with one 3100 and the 6000.
