I downloaded a TSOP and eeprom for my 3100-10 for the atmega fix but I noticed one thing, my IRD is now flagged. What can I do about this, but also I was wondering what it means to be using a flagged IRD? Thanks

What do you mean by flagged? It has an X in the software version?

beside my eaed there was a N but now it is an F

From what I am reading from other posts it dosent really matter to have an F there unless I want to use the IRD leagly is that right?

Ok I fixed it, just from a learning point of veiw, does a flagged IRD mean that you cant use it legaly and it wont except updates? I just want knoledge

Used to be that a flagged IRD was one the charlie 'banned' the IRD #

He has not done that in years, the only other way you get that is to try to subscribe a IRD that has a number that is already subscribed.
