View Full Version : subbed 301.013 single is dead...

The backup p207 tsop & eeprom for my 301.013 single became corrupted in my attempts to go to plastic. I erased corrupt tsop & eprom w/jkeys & used previous backup from p204 for both, however, unit will still not power up. Correct box keys & ird # show up in jkeys. This unit is vid-modded and no problems or errors w/jkeys. Tried Wall2.1 but only received errors. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I do not get a green light or anything to indicate ird is powering up!

I am currently trying wall v2.2 @ 01FC00000, 400000 & 600000, however, I keep getting erase failed???

jkeys was working prior to wall however now no box keys, ird type, noting...

Forget wall, you don't need it for a -013, it will only get confusing if you try it.

What happens when you jtag it with jkeys??

What are you tryin gto accomplish?? Going back to original or setting up for rom102TOrom10, or Atmega??

my only backup is at p204 when I loaded that along with eprom unit would not produce a green light??? If you think we can get it going with plastic that would be fine for now, it's a suubed unit so either way will be fine...

Try doing a sector 49 erase, then let it up streamed.

I've previously tried a sector 49 erase & streamed it for a coupls of hours & nothing, no green light & no changes???

After manually entering model id as 301.013, I erased sector 49 (7FF10000 - 7FF20000) 3 times...

I left off trying to accomplish a full erase of the tsop in both jkeys & wall to get rid of corruption...

Then erase the complete tsop, and rewrite any older version that you have.

I tried that before & all I got was errors from both jkeys & wall 2.2... I will remove unit from stream & try it again... When I previously was able to reload tsop & eprom from p204 the light still would not come on nor anything to let me believe the ird was coming alive...

Now when I attempt to detect w/jkeys I get this error: Flash codes returned are not recognized by jkeys mfg/device codes returned are FFFFFFF/FFFFFFF (JEDEC) & Flash File FFFFFFF/FFFFFF????

See if vid mod switch is a 2 pole switch, with 5 wires on it, if it is, then it also incorporates R79/ground, make sure the switch is UP(write position) before plugging in the receiver.

OK after bring the sledge hammer from garage & threatening accordingly... was able to delete full tsop flash & reprog w/p204 tsop & eeprom - box keys & receiver info have returned once again...?????

vid-mod switch is 2-pole w/5-wires & yes, you previously warned me about moving switch while power is attached...

Normally, if the flash is corrupt, the green light won't go off........

Nothing is going to work until you are able to erase the total flash....

You have to get jkeys to recognize the receiver, don't worry about he flashes,if you get a device ID, jkeys is communicating..

yes jkeys identifies everything right now - device id, correct box keys, build config, etc, etc, etc????
