Directv Help

Just a quick Question. I have a new Directv receiver and card. Is there anyway to get programing without having to hook-up any wires, soder anything or connect anything to a computer. I haven't done anything since the HU's went down. I heard all I needed was a valid card and receiver #. Is this true?

as far as I know, there is no hack for DTV at this time.
