hi everyone i hav screwed up two of my atmega i think i hav try to programme them with the new n2 fix for a 301.010 aand i did everything that they said to do in the instruction and after i finished i had a black screen and i went back to reprogram my card and there i c that my card was loacked after i full monty it one the card is has this mark on it atmega 128 , -16Al 0218 AT 18.000 and the other card has this atmega 128 , 16Al 0208 18.000
and both of them is the problem lock and having the message failed to enter program mode please can someone help me here i hav no more card to play with . thank to everyone who take their time to help me here .

all you need to do is open up jeepesDX and do a ALTERNATIVE CHIP ERASE and thats it your in:D

Everyone always says to do any alternate chip erase. I'm sure he read to do that atleast 5oo times. I was having the same problem. I found that I had to alter my programer. The db25 port does not put out enough power to get back into the atmega after you put the N2 on it. You have to wire to you USB port to get your power. The printer puts out 5 volts but it is a weak 5 volts. It is enough to program it the old way but not for the new stuff. Alot of the atmega programers are made cheap and that is the reason for the mod. I have done it and have not had a problem sence. Look at my prevases posts and you will find where to go and find the alterations. I think it is in a post called if you are locked out of you atmega post here. Good luck. It worked for me. I tried for two days with no luck till I did this.
