View Full Version : The Tudurkey
Have you guys heard about this thing? It's called the tudurkey. I guess there is this one deli in Louisiana that makes these things. It's a deboned turkey, duck and chicken all in one. It's a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken stuffed with corn bread stuffing. Sounds pretty good to me.:D Takes all night to cook it but according to John Madden it's worth the wait. Gonna have to try one some day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. May your holiday meal be as filling as the tudurkey is supposed to be.

It's a Turducken, and just in case it flings a craving on some of you, here's how to make your very own.

I agree with Lefty. When you visit Nawlins, you don't ask what's in the food...you just pray over it and hope for the best.

Thanks for the correction Twostep. I only heard about it in passing the other night on Monday night football. Sounded great to me though. Mostly I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving.

John Madden has been hyping this thing for years and you can order one online from several places. Just Google it and you will be amazed to see that it is available from several sources. If cooked correctly it is wonderful and unigue. I wonder why they don't stuff a partridge in there?
Getting to my original point: Happy thaksgiving, may the day find all of you and your families well and happy!

No correction intended, JT, sorry.:) It DOES sound good, as long as you cook the thing enough to get all the grease out of the duck. I like duck, but you have to buy a 6 pounder to get two pounds of meat.
A happy Thanksgiving to you and all, as well. If you ate as much as I did, you should sleep well tonight.
