erase SA5 and re-stream or download a modded CAPA file and erase the old file and write the modded file if you are into modding.

I'm having the same problem on my 301 13. I need to update the frimware to 208. when i erase SA49 it goes into a power cycle mode for hours. currently i have 207, and it wont work with avrx. all i get is previews.
any suggestions?
Have you done a vid mod on that .013?? If not , you really should do one. Goto the How to guide on this site and they got a great vidmod procedure..

Yes i have already vmod the unit. it does the same thing when i try to load 204, then once it is plugged in it goes into the cycle.
Before you goto Flash Program to Erase your sector, did you ground R79??. Also maybe you should do a Full erase and write the p2.07 back. then just let it update in the stream.
Do you have a digital lock on this 013? If so, you need to disable it or it will continually reboot and never get the update.

No digital locks. I can write and erase the firmeware and eeprom completely fine, just that when i try to update the firmware from the stream it goes off and on for hours. i even try letting it sit over night. and same thing happened the next morning
If you erase and write firmware then all you need is a P2.08 bin ,I got 3 different ones from different build cfg. Match one of my build cfgs. DASA, DAMD , DAHD and i will PM you one of the bins if you want.. The only thing is i cannot get them to work with the AVR-X's. I get error 357 and 129 with them... let me know if you want one ...

I have a DAIA, but i don't think it would matter. PM me... it's still stuck on 207
