The dog was the best dog I ever had. A mix of Staffordshire Terrier and a Border Collie. He had to be left behind when I moved on with my life and since died. He went outside through a hole in the fence and ate poison. His name was Topi and Skipper now sent him to doggie heaven right next to Charlie's birds to keep his eyes on. I dream of him frequently.

Ahh now you got me blubberin' again. Every time I think I'm over my Scot something comes up to whack me in the heart again. My daughter made me a little framed picture of him to use as the angel on top of our xmas tree, he's there now. I feel your loss man.

Yeah I believe so, he had a favourite spot at the front door landing where he always slept at night & you would have to step over him. He only woke up if someone strange came to the door, a few nights ago my daughter was coming up the stairs and she swears she had to step over him, saw his face in detail. It didn't hit her till she was past and looked back to nothing, I feel his presence all the time. Call me nuts if ya like.

Fuck.
The Great Dane on the picture died in my arms after slipping on my broken tennis racket I like an idiot left on my floor and breaking his neck. He was about 170Lbs and I lifted him off the floor and carried to my car and drove to the vet like nuts stopping to hail a police cruiser on my way who then drove in front of me with sirens to the vet knowing all the way that he was gone. Needless to say I will never ever break antoehr tennis racket in my life on purpose nor will I leave one around if I break one accidentally.
Cimba that is why I KNOW you must get another dog.
It feels like betrayal in the beginning but it then helps you come to terms. Please reconsider and get a pup.

jeash i woke up feeling good then read this thread, now im sad.

i remember when we got our dog. she was actually cannadian :). We took her from a relative who couldnt handle her. I lived in the us so we had to get her back accross the border. Arrived at the border and was asked..."Anything to delcare".. Looked at dad, looked at dog. looked at guard and said naaa just this dog back here. And he let us go. If anyone knows when you try to get a pet accross the border without papers the quarentiene them. It was quiet funny and when i miss her i think about it. She died about 5 years ago..
