I hate to be begging but I have been working on this 102 to rom 10 thing for 4 days without any success. It's beginning to drive me nuts. I keep getting everything up to the point where I get the preview channels, but eveything else is blank. Could someone please email me all the modded / patched files (bin & TSOP) to get a dish 2800 CSCA going ?

I appreciate any help or further instruction.

what file are you writing 8a or 8b

I have tried both. On "A" I believe you need to edit in your receiver ID boxkeys. Then I noticed on "B" that they were set a a default and that is what I have been messing around trying to get working.

clean rom10 twice open bin file 8b then open patch test patch send it
open 3m test it send it then write to card do not edit nothing at all.
Except password if neccesary and it must be changed before 3m patch is written.

Just did it two times, both times I am only getting 101 & 103. Sat signal looks fine, but ran a switch check also. Same. I was very careful both times.

Found & downloaded the 2800 CASA file Alabamaone posted. When I unzipped, there was only the TSOP file. I thought from reading your reply, there was going to be a card file also ?
Erased full TSOP 3 times and wrote the CASA you uploaded. Reprogrammed card as you instructed. Went to fire it up and am getting nothing. When I first plug it in, the light flashed a couple times then stabilized. I waited for a couple more seconds, then the light went out completely and stayed out. I rebooted again, and the same thing. Does not even get to the acquiring satellite screen, much less preview channels. I am going to go back through and erase and program the TSOP again and see what happens.
Again, I appreciate all the help.

Went through the entire process for TSOP and rewrote card. Same thing. Plug in receiver, power light comes on and flashes several times , then goes solid and stays on but that's it. I am getting nothing on screen.

when you create a flash file you need to put a chek mark in box where it say FIX CRC.

if it wouldn't bring up searching for sat. it may be corrupt. i'll try it again. also the build config sticker does say CASA, CASD ETC... First three must match

I am not sure exactly what I did but I just got it going. I started from scratch again with my original full TSOP file. I noticed after I applied the RSA patch, the receiver id numbers and box keys did not take so I entered them in manually, saved, and then wrote it to the TSOP. I then reprogrammed the EEPROM with my original. It took only seconds to fire up and everything is there.

You also have to make sure you have the most recent software version 834 on the IRD. If you do not have that you need to erase SA5 and restream. Then you can write your file.

OK - 2800 is good to go. I have one more card and several receivers but I know little about what to do with this card as it will not clean. It says:

Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50
30 31 30 20 52 65 76 41 32 31 49
ROM Revision: 010
EEPROM Revision: RevA21
CAM Date: 16A6
Closing of COM1 was successful

Is there anything I can do ?

is A21 stream locked? I thought that was just a23/24....

even if its locked, aren't there some quick winex proggys to unlock.....easier than a23/24...

if you didn't change pssword, open nagra edit, click on tools, remove card lock then put your password or default which is
AABBCCDDAABBCCDD,
Then in nagra edit click on communication tab then open D2C file that came with the 8b file test and send your results should be same as top window after this do a one step clean

AL1 & all - tried the unlock with 102torom10 and it did not work. Been a long time since I messed with my HU loader, but I see from the dish net unlock programs I see, many are .xvb like you use with Winexp. I have a T911 clone and I would assume it must be flashed to use on dishnet ? Anyone have any instructions and utility suggestions for flashing ?

Tried a couple different things. Ended up unlocking card with ISO loader using Rompopper V2. Card is now good to go.

Again, thank you to Alabamaone and all others who helped me out. This is the best place on the net.
