HD 6000 Tiers Patch

I just got my HD6000 working with the rom 102to10. My question is does anyone have a patch to pick up all the HD channels. All the patches i have seen thus far do not have the HD tiers in them. If someone has a patch they could paste here, that would be great.

Read the card
apply, test and run the following

I am unable to get ESPN, TNT, and the few others around that range. They are in RED. I have the HBO one, and the NFL one. That is it.

Could you help me out please.

You can just edit your tiers in the 3mtierpatch file. Try doing tier3. Change the 0A9E in line D401 to 0EA6. That should get you all the HD including Voom if you have a dish on 61.5 or 129.

So all I have to do is change those four digits at that line? What about the long string that I see. Arent those part of the tiers too? If you could give me so more info on the procedure, that would be great.

Yes, that is all you have to do. Don`t worry about the rest of the string, just change those four digits and you will have HD.

I am installing more dishes tomorrow, to point to some of the other satellites. Which should I point at? I have the 110 and the 119 now. I want to get as many of the HD channels as possible

Glad it worked for you. As #40 stated, 61.5 has more HD (Voom, CBSHD from NY). If you have difficulty seeing 61.5, Voom is also mirrored to 129, so that would also work. If you REALLY want to have HD, think about converting to BEV. Much more HD there. Have fun!

So far I am just getting the "original" 10 Voom channels. The rest are supposed to be coming sometime after the first of the year. I am monitoring 61.5 and 129 for the new ones, but so far have not found anything, even in the engineering tiers.

Hey 40,
You seem to be the man on the 6000's. What type of HD channels does Bev have that dish doesnt? I was thinking about switching myself. Also wanted to know if you have a jtag port installed on your 6000, because it is a bitch keeping them pogo pins down for that long when adding a new tsop. If you have one installed, i wanted to know if you could show me what you did, so maybe i could do it. although i hate to screw up my 6000.

I have a 20 pin header that I hook my JTAG up too.

I am now where near the man on the 6000s. Still learning too.

I have only had Bev going for a couple of days now, and haven't really watched that much. But from what I have seen so far, they have a lot more. For me, I like Fox channels that broadcast some shows as HD like Prison Break and House. It does seem like they have more movie channels too.

Hey guys. You guys seem like the right people to ask. I can't seem to get my 6000 to erase and program the flash. I was able to save my hi and lo bins and epprom without any problem, except for the 12 minutes of holding the j-tag, but It just wont erase or program the new bins. Any secrets or thoughts? I have no problems on my 2800 receivers. Appreciate the help:

Are you using any kind of extension? If so, try it without it. Try fresh batteries too if using a buffered JTAG. If not, get one.

Hi, tried the buffered and quad. It says I'm erasing but won't program after. How can I tell if I am erasing the flash. When I do a reread all info is still there, boxkeys etc. Using j-keys, no extension.

Remember when erasing Flash 2 that you need to change the address from 7fc00000 to 7FE00000. Flash 1 is still 7FC00000.

I never changed the address when i erased flashed two. And i have my Rom10 running. It didn't even give me a chance to erase it.

Also 40, those are two of my favorite shows, I would love to get them in HD. Does Bev offer any other channles in HD, like NBC, or CBS?

Also, what do you know about these off air antenna HD things. Are they any good? I just cant see them being really clear? Are they?

Appreciate this help, I've tried to erase flash 1 several times and then try and erase flash 2 and get a error. Flash 2 low doesn't give me a chance to change it because it says error at location fffff before I get that far.

Jkeys should recognize the 6000 and offer both Hi(U45) and Lo(U41) options

Flash with a viriginized EEPROM
Erase Hi 3 times ..... load Hi
Erase Lo 3 Times....load Lo

Worked for me. :)

Don't feel too bad. I have done a few IRDs in my time too and the 6000 is a different beast.
