Finally fixed my blank screen problem with a 2800, dishnet, rom10.... here is what was done...
This is copied from elsewhere...
TAKE A FULL BACKUP of your TSOP(s) and EEPROM. 2. save tsop
open tsop with flashedit.
enter IRD# and boxkeys and click crc fix using advanced mode
apply RSAnew-2700-2800-3700-834pONLY.fs patch and save file
create virgin eeprom with flashedit, making sure all #'s are the same as the tsop file and save file
erase full tsop using jkeys 3 times to be sure.
program tsop and eeprom with saved files
Card
1. do a one step clean
2. open 102toRom10-0001-8b.bin
3. open, test and apply 102toRom10-0001-8b.ep10 patch
4. open, test and apply 3mTierPatch-0001-8b.ep10 patch
5.apply the patch
6. write to card
After all this, could get the guide and the info channels, all the rest were blank...
rewrote the tsop a few times using new files created by flashedit, and the card a bunch of times, got new patches and files, and tried them, but nothing... then rewrote my eeprom with a virgiin eeprom again....
ird was password protected... tried the memory dump to no avail....
(from another post) Press the menu button on your remote, click on Locks, click ok without entering a password, click on ratings and change them to suite you.if that doesn't work, open that eeprom with theWonka IRD EEPROM Master or any other program and remove the restrictions and then write back to your IRD...
smooth sailing now...
thanks to those that replied and posted what has worked for them...

REZ, How did you create the virgin eeprom? Maybe that will fix my problem. I've done everything you say you've done except perhaps my eeprom isn't virgin. Let me know. Thanks

Yikes, it'll be later before I can download. I'm not a vip member. There are no instructions with FlashEdit 2.1.

using flash edit is easy load flash change info you need to change save as personal dump next do another save and this time save as virgin eeprom when asked for build enter the same letters for the build of your board in caps of course

just as ynot-try has said... make sure all numbers are the same as when you apply the rsa file.. and it should work... a virgin eeprom made the difference with me...

cp fom 13 readme
A helpful feature is the Save Virgin EEPROM function, which is helpful
if your EEPROM has been corrupted, through an ECM, or you are replacing
the old chip with a new one. This simply creates a 2048-byte image,
which is composed of 24 bytes located in the Flash image, and the rest
is filled with FF's. Be sure to enter the actual build config from the
sticker, as it is different from the one in the Flash.
If you are planning on uploading your files to a "TSOP Bank" (highly
recommended, to help other members of the satellite community), then
you can check the "Make Public Dump" box, to automatically blank out
the IRD# and box keys from the saved file.
To load a new file, simply [Close File] the old one, hit the [...] to
select the new file, and begin the process again.
Thanks to satFTA, for providing the information, in a handy chart form,
of the offsets of the IRD#, box keys, etc. in the various IRDs Flash
dumps, and for answering emails from me in a prompt manner. You have
contributed a lot to this hobby, satFTA: keep up the good work!

Tried this - didnt' work for me. I've done what rez-rez said to do except for the receiver password because that isn't the issue for me.
Help???!!!
I see so many posts about this problem and everyone's fix is different if there is even a fix posted.

I have 301.010 and am testing dish. I get the guide and channel listings but the channels are blank, just blank screen with title of show that should be on there. Same for every channel. Was like this the whole time. I did the flashedit part of the instructions with rRSAnew-2700-2800-3700-834pONLY, is that the problem? Is that only for the models 2700,2800,3700 does anyone have it for the 301.010, and if you do could you please share with me. This is one hard fix, never had problems like this before. Any ideas??? Also are the new keys in full effect yet?
