Am I correct in saying that this is for dish but also has bev support because I placed both new files in my plugins folder and all I have is a black screen....

S2emu is not working for Bev. The key listed above is correct

Yes it is correct. I am using it right now...just make sure you set this up as key 00 and you setup Provider ID as 0901. Basically it should look like this:

If your talking about BEV, also place the 2Semu in the MDplugins.

And make sure you have mdwrapper in the plugins folder. That was my problem I had 2 days ago.

Not to confuse the issue even more but for S2EMU you don't need mdwrapper and mdplugins folder but it will work with it. Krasnal does indeed need them but s2emu does NOT need them.

To recap, the newest version of S2EMU supports both Dish and BEV just make sure you have a current and correct softcam.key file (just place both in the plugins folder). You don't need mdwrapper and mdplugins if you get s2emu working but it will work with it if you like (waste of cpu if you ask me). On the other hand if you are still using krasnal then you must use mdwrapper and mdplugins.

If you C/P from the above post be sure to delete the added blank spaces in the RSA key, there should not be any blank spaces. The softcam.key file as to be exact for it to work, pay close attention.

Flatland posted the correct softcam.key file, just DELETE the two columns of blank spaces. The blank spaces are added by the board.

You have been helping people last three days. I been following your instructions but no TV yet. Which two columns do I have to delete? I have a K-world DVBS card and 64 MB system video memory. Any help would be appreciated. BY the way I am using s2emu and softcam. I think I have a prob with my softcam file
