black screen but does show what is on

i have a black screen but it does show the guide and when i change channels it does say what is on..i do get all preveiw channels..thanks for any help

good luck i had the same problem .let me guess 301.10 reciever ??? i tried tried and tried and ended up changing to 2700 and worked within 5 min of starting it so good luck and give more details like reciever number so if they find a answer for you then i might get mine workin

no its a 301-13

Pull the card out and put it back in, see if video comes up. I did mine and it works. It's a 3100.

Jtag the receiver and insure that the IRD and Box Keys match those supplied by the dealer (in the 2005-11-14_205954_drive_d.zip).

Be sure you use (or have used) the reg 013 'stuff' and not the reg 010.

The IRD number and box keys must match what is on the ATmega128 card or you would not have gotten the info channels and the guide.

It does appear as though your system is still talking N1 and has not been converted to N2.

I would suggest, clean everything up and sart all over with a clean slate. Watch your Ps and Qs closely.

is there somewhere in flashedit or somewhere to enter the n2 keys or are you talking box keys cause i had same problem and when i jtaged all info was correct and thats what iwas thinking that it was the dish keys but couldnt see where i could put them in anywhere
