Rom10 losing channels, keep needing to reinsert card, why?

I'm getting everything when I insert the card, but after a day or so I start losing channels, usually some of the cartoon channels and PPVs, sometimes CNN. They usually come back for a while if I take out the card and reinsert it. Why is this happening and is there any way to stop it?

What are you using for a reciver? It's possible that you have to many teirs and that the tsop in your reciver does not have enough memory to keep track of all them so you end up droping channels. Sometimes a switch check will bring them back to. I had an old 3000 that used to do this back in the magic days if you left everything wide open.

It's doing the same thing on both the 3700 and the 501. The wide open image I'm using does have a lot of unneeded locals, but I'm not sure how to delete these.

JUST SELECT THE TIERS YOU WANT OR USE THE CRAPPY n2 TIER GEN PROG
REMEMBER only use 7 tiers including ppv and porn

I could make a new image with the N2 tier gen program, but if possible I'd prefer just to delete the unneeded tiers. How to do this? You can't deselect the tiers on Nagra Edit as you could in the N1 days.

By the way, if each set of locals counts as a tier, this image has many more than 7, more like 17, and I have not had a problem with locking or freezing (knock on wood). Only prob so far is the loss of channels.

your using the the wide open tier thats why your getting so many locals
cut down the range the day of N1 is gone so you cant run too many individual tiers like before
I get everything incl my locals and the east and west feeds plus 3 others off 110, I m not using the wide open tier ..... just the 7

I agree, but again the question is how to delete some tiers off my current image? Or maybe this is not possible and I'll have to start from scratch and make a new image with the N2 tier gen.

The n1 days may be gone but very soon we will have N2 working like N1 was.
Now that we understand n2 better it won't be long until we develop fancy programs to make tier selection idiot proof.
