Open up jkeys on the left side click on drop down box select 2800 then just above it hit detect..Now click on flash programming unplug and plug ird back in if you get trap functional bottom right your good to go do a full erase 3 times then write back a good clean tsop image and your power should be back...;)

hey i finally got it to work by your instructions only thing was it would not let me erase it stayed dimmed out.. but said trap functional in bottom right .. so i found out that while in flash programming by unplugging the ird and plugging right back up the jkeys was able to successfully read it and let me erase it and i was able to put tsop back on.. however now i have this issue with no sat signal.. i checked my tsop file and everything again and i have my build config and everything right.. i go into 6,1,1 and do switch check and it dont even find a signal anymore.. i also checked and i have 00 02 changed from 01 02.. not sure what to do at this point but i do have pwer light back on..thanks for the input..

Hello there.. I'm having a similar problem with my 3900. I've programmed the receiver a couple of times with no problem, however now when I go to program it in Jkeys it can't find the receiver. However it does the trap function. Also I erased the flash 3 times and when I try to program it, it starts, then stops and says Error programming flash at offset 0x7fe3a400. Is there any way to recover from this?? Thanks in advance! I'm attempting to use an Atmega 128 with it.

This is an OLD problem that we all run into with Jkeys. Just follow the instructions further up in this thread and be persistent. Eventually it will program all the way up the scale.:D

This problem has been posted in many threads and I for one have tried everything I could find to make it go away in a 2800. So far no luck.
Let's hope that someone will come along with the answer.:(
