can someone please tell me what these files are, some have almost the same name. Is the rom programming different for dish then bev??

1. working 301-010 pengafix for dish from fan #40.rar

2. n2 6000-cnaa-828p 6000 pengafix Dish

3. 3mTierPatch-0001-8b.ep10

4. 102toRom10-0001-8b.ep10

5. 3mTierPatch-0801-8b.ep10

1) tsop images for the 301.10 modified for Penga rom10 or Atmega
2) same as #1 but for model 6000
3) 3m patch file for applying to rom10 for Penga's solution (apply 3m after #4)
4) base patch file for Penga rom10 solution
5) Same as #3, but for provider 0801 which is Bev
6) Same as #4, but for Bev
7) same as #1 but for model 2800...but not sure what the .fs extention means

2700/2800/3700 all have the same RSA locations ....

Do I have to do the penga fix for the tsop's, I was told to leave my ird alone and that just programming the rom would work??

For Penga fix you have to program both rom and tsop for it to work.

what the hell, why was I told by a well known person to just program the rom and leave the tsop's alone. He said that was only if I wanted to use BEV, and something about porn and PPV.

Either you misunderstood what was said,or the well known person is on crack.LOL
So,yes to use the ROM10 fix you do have to change some info on the tsop or load an aleady modded tsop image to your box.
