Tested and working. This softcam has all 4 keys to allow you to get your hbo, cnn, etc. back. When and if these go active full then you'll have them...just edit. Cheers!

I tried to download this rar file and it is corrupted

That's funny...I just downloaded it and it's fine....you can't use getright or any kind of download agent on this site...that may be your problem.

No you use it now...has all keys...will toggle between 86 and 96 byte key...all your channels will work on dish.

That's funny...I just downloaded it and it's fine....you can't use getright or any kind of download agent on this site...that may be your problem.

This file is downloaded as a .rar file, you did not say to change the .rar
to .zip. After I changed the file type to zip, it unzipped OK.

I got your file it looks OK to me.

But I'm a BEV user any idea when keys will be released? And is there another way of getting them?

I take it this file is not for plastic, my question is what is it for? Atmega or FTA?

Geez...what an ingrate.....first you say it's corrupt, then you whine because I didn't tell you it's in rar format...what next? Perhaps I should come to your house and install it? You seem to want me to do everything else..why not that? People like you give us true testers a bad taste. Makes me wish I never posted this....
I'm sure the rest of you can use common sense and mutter through it....

CaptainHowdy, I do not think name calling is called for at this time. If you
put something up for download, why did you not just say that it was a zip
file with a .rar extention and that it needed to be changed back to a .zip.
I have see many files posted and they tell you that the .rar has to be
changed to .zip. I guess I am suppose to read you mind. By the way, I just
asked a simple question and you get all irate.

By the way these are the different formats the file could have been saved in
ace,zip,lha,rar,arc,arj,gzip,tar,zoo,jar and iso. I guess a good tester would
try each one of these.Just remember Winzip, winace, winrar will always
try the extention, winace is what I use and it said corrupt file.

I tried it earlier. What happened was CNN,FOXnews,HBO-E etc. worked but the other all froze.

Has anyone else gotten this to work? Like I said only the few "blacked out " channels work. All I did was unrar it to my MT/plugins folder.

Captain Howdy is doing us all a favor. He is posting his Softkey file to fix the CNN issue. I too downloaded his file and was able to unzip it. A quick look and I was able to figure it out.

Thanks Captain for taking the time to post this for others. If people like you were not around this would be an expensive hobby.

Was interesting to watch the S2emu show key 01 for CNN, and key 00 for other channels I watched.

PS. If you can't figure out how to unzip a file than toss all your testing equipment in the garbarge and call DISH to sub.

Sorry my question wasn't on how to unzip, it was how do you instal changes to the unit.

Okay.Unzipped to plugins. ONLY 200,205,300 etc. work. THAT's it. What simple ass thing am I missing?

Also use the S2emu.dll file from S2emu1.19_with_Bev_support.rar.

I couldn't get the new softcam.key to work with the .dll from S2EMU118FULL.

Now it's all working :)

Works like a charm and I've got it posted to other forums and no one else has had problems. Something on your end because this works fine...simply delete old key and put this in "plugins" folder. Even if you don't delete the old key it will get overwritten just by dropping a new key in the plugins folder and clicking yes when asked. I deleted old key.
Anyway,I'm not stupid and all I've added to plugins is semu2 and softcam. Point is moot now I guess.
