It seems DishNet's signal integrity department is stuffed entirely with morons. Every second time they try rolling keys a bunch of subscribers get blacked out, that is confirmed. I'd say after they completed their swap they thought N2 will never get hacked and fired all competent (ok, ok semi competent) SI staff.
BEV on the other hand seems to have put some serious effort into killing the hacks that are based on ROM102 cards.
Bev is updating their Rom102s so that people can't dump them anymore. Dish will
do the same if they got any clue left. The idea is that if no one can dump, no more keys to post = no more hacks.
It used to be BEV following DishNet's lead with ECMs. Now it seems that role has been reversed.
Expect them to patch the vulnerabilities that allow people to glitch their way in then (change the key roll algorythms - optional) then roll the keys.
