dp301.010

hi all i have been reading alot on how to jtag a dp301.010 i find alot of info but none seem to give a definite answer on how to hook up the jtag to the ejtag from on top. i made a home jtag from instructions since i don't have a opening on the bottom of my 301 i would like to hook it up from on top. can someone send me the right pictures or instructions on how to do this with dp301.010 ejtag.
do i read the numbers from 1 - bottom left 2- top left 3- second bottom from left and so on.......this is all i need to start testing......thanks all :D

i noticed these instructions before but they say its for a 3100 is the 3100 and the dp301.010 the same or is it since mine says ejtag?? thank you once again :confused:

This is for the 301.10 dual not the 301.13 or others, The 301.10 is called 3100 but on the back its a 301.10, They can be tricky so back it up first, both tsops and eeprom. I usually erase 2nd tsop then program it , then first tsop and program then eeprom if needed

DB25 Jtag
2 100 Ohm Resitor 9 orange white
3 100 Ohm Resitor 11 orange
4 100 Ohm Resitor 13 blue
5 100 Ohm Resitor 19 blue white
13 100 Ohm Resitor 15 brown
18-25 ground to case with clip
Alternate is to ground R79 closest side to jtag to hold the unit sleeping while programming


Forgot to mention not too long less than 9-10 inches

Personnally remove board , install header and build jtag with resistors inside db25 case, then connecting to a flat ribbon cable with connectors for the header ( use an old hard drive cable and cut to size. then a alicator clip wire for the ground) Nice and neeet, and is already to accept an avr-x ( can be purchased right on this site ) if and when you decide to go that route.
