I just received my new pre-modded loader from **********. I think it may be defective though, or else I don't know WTF I am doing.

This is what's going on. I have a Nexus Quad ISO that I can read three ROM10's on in NagraEdit. Here is the info it reads along with reset info -

I x'ed out the CAM ID's and Valid ATR stings.

So step two... I am able to flash the loader with anything out there. It programs fine with no errors (XPAtmel on XP OS). Right now I am using newd11 for the flash. I run a "ROM-10-A81 OPEN.xvb" script on the A81 cards and get this -

This is with the pot set @ 2.2 and using the "loader 2" programming in WinEx. I have tried all the dip switch settings I have found around the forums (1 & 6, 2 & 6, 2 & 5, 3 only, 2 only, and 5 only) and I get the same response.

Now if I run this same script without a card in the loader I get this (notice the different response) -

I can change the pot during the scripts from 0-5K and nothing changes. Any thoughts or suggestions on this? I have tried about 5 different flashes and 10+ scripts and get just about the same thing regardless (FFFFFF, oOOooOOo, ++--++--, etc).

Thanks for any insight!

I don't know the nexus model other than back in the HU days alot of guys had troubles with them being quite difficult to work with. The message may contain an update is not good, it means they are stream locked. I will look later for any info. I might have on the nexus & will post.

In my Sticky there are a couple I believe. You will have to download as many as you can and check them out, I can't remember off-hand and am too ill to go through them all again. I have no modded loader right now either so have fun digging thru those proggies.

max,
the orange is shit when it come to rom a24. i've had a dozen of them, and not one popped in it. come to think of it, a81 is tough, but i've done those. i had the same problems as u with the resets. a few aint bad, but what u gotta do is adjust the trim pot while its running. 2.2 won't work for a24, and really, i'm not sure what will, but i do know i was able to rid the resets by adjusting the trim, bit like i said, never did pop one.
good luck

I popped 1 a81 with newd11 in 10 minutes, another a81 gave me a run for my money (5 days) until I read on the forums that I should do as follows: a) use flash newd8, b) use vcc analyzer 1 first and the values that you get you copy on vcc analyzer 2, c) the values that you get from analyzer 2 you copy on rom10-81OPEN. The whole process took about 15 minutes and it worked !
good luck

I am also using a modded nexus t911 and I used A24-streamORchecksumlockedfast.xvb to pop an a24 very quickly. I played with the pot but i went nowhere so i left it alone and I assure you that I spent more time reading the forums than popping cards. I have a81, a3d , a23, and a24 (7 altogether)

Hillbilly - so which loader would you recommend for 10's, T911? What are your thoughts on the Mikobu III's?

I can adjust my pot either direction while the script is running and the response doesn't change, just RESET RESET RESET. I am thinking a defective loader now. Been working on this two days and can't even get a start to glitching these.

beruca - what happens when you play with the pot, nothing? Did you change the VCC limits at all? The only other thing I can think of is this loader isn't compatible on my two computers; desktop and laptop. I am going to try another CPU tomorrow.

When you play with the pot you will see lots of FFFF if you turn it one way or a mix of Fs and 6F if you turn it the other way, I left mine in the middle. I use an orange modded Nexus. Don't forget that you flash with switches 1,6 on and you glitch with 2,5 on. Some people glitch with only 3 on. If you read the Maestra site forums you will find a file called: How to use your t911 Hu modded loader. Read it

I have read just about everything out there and I still can't get this thing to work. I replaced the pot today with a 2.2k resistor, still nothing. So I took that off and put on a 15 turn 5k pot. Tried going through all 15 turns and still get RESET. It will flash fine, but won't glitch at all. I have tried every switch combo possible and get nothing. The only thing I can think of at this point is a defective loader. I just ordered a new modded T911 (non-Nexus) from dish******. Hopefully this one will atleast work and I can't start watching some TV again.

Thanks for all the help everyone! :D
