ok first let me start out and say congrats to all who have been able to successfully program and get tv.. i have a 2700 and 2800 that i have gone by the book on and havent got anything yet.. i have no problems flashing, using flash edit or hex editor.. i can program atmega card no problems.... i am going by the all in one and i have my build configs on each ird and i can change them in flashedit and i can erase tsop and re write and the build config data line i can change to the 00 02.. what i get is if i change to 00 02 on either ird i get searching for sat signal.. if i change to 01 02 i get signal and previews but only titles on other channels.. i have tried reversing the build config letters and same problem.. i have dropped off last letter of build config and changed to A and still have same problem... i do as told to do and let update 5 to 10 minutes before pluggin in any sat cable... my sys info shows the correct box keys for the flash and everything else is correct... i honestly dont have a clue as to what else i can change cause i have tried everything.. i heard the box keys have changed but havent updated that yet today.. does anybody have anything they think i can do.. i have edited the fuse bytes per instruction FC AE 81 FF... and i hear some tell others to make sure you use a virign eeprom... how is this obtained? can that be part of the problem? i have edited my eeprom file to my build config.. as i said everyway possible..forward backward changing last letter, etc... i know everybody has issues and i have worked on this for 2 weeks and have read about everything possible before i bugged anybody.. so if there are any suggestions i would appreciate and would be happy to let the forum know what worked if i can get to work... my routine has been by the book...program atmega and set fuse settings..then prepare new tsop and eeprom then write back tsop and eeprom after all editing is finished.. and i get either no sat signal with 00 02 or only preview channels with 01 02... again thanks for any input..

I ran into the same problem. I ended up searching for Atmega "mod'd" TSOP dumps with at least the same two first build letters, only making a virgin eprom (be sure to use caps when you enter your build) and waiting for the system to reboot before hooking up the antenna. Doing any editing to the actual TSOP seems to create a checksum error on my attempts.

After you do all that, if you wait about 12 sec, and you don't get a nag (other than searching) hook up the antenna, go to dish pointing, you should have a 119 transponder (assuming the dish is pointed) then do a check switch.

Hope this helps
