Thats not very nice way to ask for help ! If u can understand this its obvious u can read, do a little research there r pansat bins out there
that work just fine on Ultras and also allow u to changes keys, check results from other postings to make sure others arent having problems w/ that file,
If u dont know if have a clone make sure file says file its safe 4 clones
READ RESEARCH TEST if this doesnt work move closer it makes spoon feeding less messy !

Depends in which bin you upload, I think any bin you upload now comes modded with the Fortec remote, there is a bin modded to fix the clock and the EPG, so save your 20 bucks!!!

It is a shame that the Fortec support died the way it did.I have a Lifetime Ultra, and I like it very much. It's good grade hardware, except for the shitty remote control. You can use either pantsat/Pantec/Fortec bins as long as they have Fortec remote codes in the bin, and the bins are clone safe.

Those remotes sure do suck ! if your using a pansat bin try using your old DTV Hughes remote code 125 or 126 works on mine w/almost all of the same functions but seems to have much better range.

Thanks for the tip. I will try it. I hate the Fortec/Pansat remotes.

pollo ... you will have to be a little bit nicer with calin... CALIN is one of the nicest person and more open to help in this forum.

I understand your frustration , I got the same when I loose the chanels...

The night of Dic 6 I was nuts... it is weird that we can not find the files in this forum as easy as it use to be... I guess $$$$$ is the reason...

I look harder that night and I found a file that says... 260-pantec-pansat-fortec-clone-fix-Dec-06...

firts I tried to uploaded with the uploader that we had before... but it did not work...

Then I used a uploader that was nex to this file (in that web site)...

It worked fine... The remote works fine... the only thing that happened was that the aspect of the menu of my FORTEC LIFE TIME ULTRA changed a little bit... it doesn't look with the default design from Fortec Factory... (but I guess that it does't matter)....

also there is no way to change keys in the menu... unless that I am blind.. I can't find it... only settings to make a satelite scan is posible... in few words.. it is a little bit weird... but I got all the chanels again... plus some ones that I was missing before... MTV, MTV2...

i have a fortec life time ultra not sure when it was made but the # are as follow*Life time ultra 543384638587200020051490110* and not sure what r the dates but what i can see that 2005 is the year and 14 is the date and 9 is the month or may be i'm making a mistake since the 284T bin killed it so i have to jtag it and i try the 2300 pansat bin but nothing so what is the correct auto roll for this unit?

2300 bin is for Fortecs Lifetime!!!! You can use 2500A bins for your Fortec ULTRA!!! In addition, NO autorroll or Beverly with those recievers or bins (unless you use a modded Pantec bin)!!!

i did load the pantecs bins but it shut off or night rider with the 270 for pantecs or the 270 for pansat as far as i know most pantec bins r modded since they do not kill any of my clones as yet any more ideas

thanks

You can use the 101t, manual entry keys, no Beverly, no Autoroll a little bit of freesing, but secure for 2004s and 2005s Ultras!!!

i tried most bins now the 284 wont work on the ird only 282 bin and FTA bin thats from a pansat 2500 2.21 and when i apply the the 270 the ird goes night rider but with bunch of 888 or a -34- then it shut off so i have to jtag it
