Rom 102 (921 boxkeys)

Hello now that we can read a rom 102 fully. Is it possible to get the boxkeys from me 921 if I sub a virgin rom 102?

I have not subbed the card or reciever yet. So as soon as it is activated it is impossible to get in the card? Can they change the Rev of a card? :D :D

I would think this should work. As long as the Rom 102 that you sub with is a rev 103 so that you can read it. I cannot verify because my 921 sub is on a Rom 103 card. Hopefully there will be a fix for that card soon. Could anyone else verify this will work.

If I am not mistaken a 921 is card specific, there fore it requires a Rom 103 card. I am currently subbing a 921 with a rom 103.

I called dishnetwork and gave them the numbers on the card and they said they could activate it if I would like. I just wanted to make sure they can't lock the card or something. I have been waiting to see if we could read and write to the rom 102 cards first. My 721 has a rom 102 card that is subbed. Thanks :D :D

Ahh, good point. What rev would they lock it at for current subs on a 102 card?

Is there any way to put a blocker on it? I know there is a 3M going around for the 101. I have not yet tried it on my 721's yet. If it works on my 721's it should work with 921's if you have the boxkeys. :D :D

i believe the current rev for rom 102's is 105 and yes it can be glitched open but the newer receivers dont use boxkeys only receivers that use the dt08 use boxkeys 301.013 and newer ird's use sk's but to answer your question if u can get them to activate the rom102 then yes u could 3m the card but i believe the 921's cant be jtagged so be careful of the 0000001 because it is coming but only charlie knows when

So programming the yellow cards is not going to help people with 921,s? If they do not have boxkeys what can you do with them? I thought that the 721's and 921's were the same build except the HD?:D :D Thanks
