Pansat 2700a Won't Flash

I have a Pansant 2500a, love it, and have had it for about 2 years or so. Never had a problem I haven't been able to fix. Well now however, I got a 2700a, from the first flash I've had problems. I finally found the correct loader for the 2700 but now I can't get it to flash again. It keeps telling me flash failed. I'm doing the exact same things I do with my 2500. Am I a complete retard and missing something right in front of me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

make sure you dont have the wrong cable 2500 and 2700 are different if im not mistaken 2500 takes a straight thu cable 2700 need a null modem cable

Wow I didn't think of that. I assumed they'd be the same. Thank you sooo much, I guess I did have a retard moment. I really dont know if I want another 2700. Copying dvd's is alot less stressful sometimes. Thank you again for letting me borrow your brain.
