a C/P from a very good tester at dssfttp

This is a one-stop shop for your ATmega needs folks, what I described below worked for me:
It appears that the fake IRD # and Box key used for the ATmega are:
IRD # 02AB4761 (decimal 4477-9361-67)
Box key 52 54 2B D8 07 DC EC 6F
But don't try to mod the TSOP file yourself because there is no information anywhere about what
other mod are needed, and they are not the same as the mod required for the ROM10 solution.
So you'll just have to have faith and use the TSOP files provided below for your IRD.
- Load modded TSOP file provided for your IRD model into Flashedit and verify that the Build
config is the same as the one found in the backup file of your own TSOP. Change to match if
necessary. It may not be important to match the Build config in the TSOP file, but it's just as
easy to just do it. Don't forget to save the file if you change the Build config.
- Load the virgin EEPROM provided for your IRD model into a hex editor (Hexedit works well
for me). Change the first 4 bytes of the file to match the Build config found on the little sticker
inside your IRD. You don't need to know the hex code for the letters, just go to the right hand
side where you can enter the letters directly. Don't forget to save the file.
It IS important that the Build config in the EEPROM file matches the one found on the little sticker inside your IRD.
- Use jkeys to write the .bin file to your IRD's TSOP and the EEPROM file to your IRD's
EEPROM. Dont' forget to unlock your TSOP & EEPROM before this operation if you have
locks in your IRD.
You are done with the IRD.
Now, use jEEpers to program your ATmega with the "hex.hex" and "eeprom.eep" files
provided in the "tomiko" package. Don't forget to do the fuse bits. The instructions coming with
the package are good enough, there is no need to repeat them here.
Playing with the fuse bits will lock the ATmega. If you need to re-enter your Atmega to
reprogram it for any reason, just do a "Alternative chip erase" in jEEpers (make sure you use
the one provided in the "tomiko" package), then write the flash and EEPROM with the files
provided in the "OriginalJuniorRoba" package, and your ATmega is good as new.
That's it!!!!
Unhook the satellite feed to your IRD, plug the ATmega into it, plug in the IRD, wait a few minutes
until you see the "acquiring satellite signal" on the screen, plug the satellite feed to the IRD, and
you get TV after a few more minutes.
You can now unplug the IRD to reactivate your locks if you want. The next time you power up,
there is no need to unhook the satellite feed like the first time. If the IRD doesn't come on by
itself after a few minutes, just turn it on with the remote.
Good luck and enjoy!!!
thank's SJ
