viewsat vs 2000 platinum...programming help plz ???

Can someone tell me plz what i'm doing wrong to programme my viewsat platinum??? what i'm doing is...Getting file in loader 2....pressing on PC > STB then turning on back switch...but it says sending ZRQINIT..resending ZRQINIT and nothing works.....I will appreciate if someone can explain me step by step......thanksssss

Make sure you are on the right COM port. You might have to reboot you PC to reset the COM port (if you are on the right one). Also make sure you have a Null Modem cable (straight-Thru Data Cable):) Good Luck

Yes I'm on right com and also useing null modem cable but i don't know why i'm allways getting this message....anyway thanks a lot for ur help.

Try turning on your viewsat on the front and back after hitting pc > stb.

Switched to a gateway from an emachine and it loaded right up.
