I'm using the coolsat 4000 bin that has both dish and bev. My dish sats are set up proper but what sat do I use for Bev? Is it 91w Galaxy11? Thanks for the help

go menu-system setting- Data base reset-factory set then you will have 91 (Nimic 1 & 3) in your satellite list.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was wondering if you (powell - or whoever) could answer something for me...
I setup my Coolsat 5000 last night. I just loaded the latest bin, then plugged it into my TV & Sat setup (the sat was already pointed for BEV). When I went to setup the satellite on the Coolsat, I was expecting to find the BEV satellite at 91w, but for some reason it came up as 173.1w ANT/F1 (or something like that - this is from memory).
Now, I've got all of the channels working, but the EPG just shows 'No information' for every channel. Is this something to do with the above? Should I have done a factory reset first (after loading the bin), and then setup my satellite?
Thanks

you need to do the factory reset to get Nimic 1 & 3 to appear in the list of satellites.

Right on... I'll give that a whirl when I get home today. I agree - from what I've seen already, these receivers are very nice!
Thanks again for the help powell!

I just tried doing a factory reset and that seemed to fix everything. After the reset, I went to setup the satellite and the BEV 91 Nimic sat was in there. Then I did a blindscan and the EPGs working great! Thanks again!
TPANRAJ - just update your 4000 with the latest bin (available in the public downloads section link above) and it will automatically roll the keys - no need to enter them manually.
