SkyMax, that's the program. You have to get a dump for your 2500A, your boot file (just in case) and your factory bin. Please, go and do your homework!!!

So, you have problem with the paralel port??? (It is not SkyMax). You can use a simple JTag doongle, but the wires should be the shortest you can (some people say no more than 12 inches). I Am using a Win98SE system now, so probably the procedure to check the port will be a little bit different, but try: start - control panel - system - ports (COM PORT & LPT1) - properties. Here make sure the box that says "disable in this profile" is UNCHECKED. Just to make sure your computer accept that, re-start and check again.

I have the same problem, i was able to use skymax but i got DCU error. Do you think i did something wrong with the Jtag? or like Calin mention about the wire being to long, why is that you need it to be short?

No, you have a different problem, you need more ground!!!, try to put your ground wire in another place too (additionally that the pin)!!!

Calin, I went ahead and try to figure the problem and broke one of the leg on the chip (TDO connection for the Jtag). which i should of wait for your reply and the grounding you mention, now i would never know, Unless you know any other place on the circuit board i could connect the TDO wire of the jtag? thanks for the reply.
