help please

i have a sat. meter and it keeps pegging all the way..but im not getting no signal in the house..what im wondering does this thing pick up directtv sat. as well

It will pick up every bird up there, you will need to set the dish for the correct bird. Good luck.

I had this problem last week. I was messing around with my tsop and had to keep going back and forth with my receiver hooking up and unhooking. The last time I hooked up I got no sat signal so I though well maybe the tsop's got messed up some how. Well after flashing like 5 times. I hooked up to a different line from the sat and had signal. I had to replace the whole cable. It had a break in it some where. Not saying this is your problem but keep it in mind if you can't get single on the receiver. It very well could be your picking up a wrong sat but I thought I would let you know so you keep that in mind. Just so your not messing all day like me. Good luck
