CoolSat- Switching between Sat 110 and Sat 61.5 causes black screen

Hi,

I recently programed Coolsatpro 4000 for Echostar 61.5, and 110. I can see all channels but everytime i switch channels between 110 and 61.5. The screen goes black, i have to restart the system to fix the issue.

Did anyone came across this?

I have the same problem with 91, 110, 119 and121. I have a pansat 3500s, wich is been working with no problems , I added bird 91 and now the screen goes black . It seems nobody knows about this. Problably the experts????

I read something about that and if I remember well, you have to be really sure that the settings in your receiver are OK. If I find something else...

i have a sinilar prob with a coolsat 4000 pro and a coolsat 5000 plat, i use sw21 switches which is better than the diesc for me. i use a dtv dish and a bev dish with dual lnbs; pointed at 110W and 119W. But still ocassionally get the scrambled channel screen when the switch does not switch. it usually resolves itself when i go back and forth between a few channels.

i think my prob is the distance between my switches and my receivers. BUT I will wait until the snow clears to do any changes.
