I have a 301.010 box I want to flash, but jkeys or wall wont read the tsop. It has the original flash on it and it powers up good, but it just wont read the tsop. I have tried three buffered jtags that I made and still no go.

I used this box for emulation before they switched to N2, so I am bot a newbie by any means. It read fine when I first tagged it to get the keys and all, but now I cant get it to read. I checked the continuity on each of the circuits on the jtag and got 100 ohms resistance on all circuits, except for the ground of course.

Is this a situation that might need a "junkyard fix"?? If so, has anyone done it and had any success??

Thanks for any advice or info, Gary

 I have the same problem on three 301-10's. My jtag works on all other models except 301's. I can't figure this out. I thought it was only me having this problem so I gave up. All I get is OFFFFFFFF's no matter what I do then I can jtag a 3900 with no problem. Maybe someone will address this post with some good advice.

Me too. My other 301.010 & 301.013 works fine. I backed them up and flashed both succesfuly with the modded flash. I give up on this unless someone has an answer, because I have made and tried several different jtags.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this problem. I thought it just might be me doing something wrong, but I guess not.

Thanks for any advice or info, Gary

Try to change positions of the J tag on the 301-010 and follow up instructions
