Greetings all,

I'm having a small issue with flashing a 301.013 with dual TSOPs.

I have installed a vidmod & grounded r79. Unit jtags OK.

Problem is that Flash 2 does not seem to want to completely erase & reflash properly. It gets to the 99% then errors. I can't manually change 7fffff4c.

So I'm wonding if this is an issue with jkeys or if I'm doing soemthing incorrectly. The reason I wonder about jkeys is that in the 013c version, it only recognizes the ird as a single chip model. None of the other versions seem to have a definition for a dual chip model. Another version I have selects 301/3100 but I'm not sure if this is correct or not.

I'm also wondering about the flash numbers. Mine read U10 & U11. I've seen others mention U10 & U12. Others still talk of U22 & U23. I'm not finding much in previous posts that explain what these are or how they're different.

Any suggestions on where to start looking are greatly appreciated.

Regards,
lud

Will this properly identify a dual TSOP 301.013?

None of the JKEYS versions I have seem to have this model defined.

I'll keep looking around.

I seem to be making a little progress with my attempts to get a 301.013, dual TSOP working with the current atmega fix.

Here's my problem.

I can jtag the unit. I have a 7812 vidmod installed & working. I can erase & reflash both tsops completely. A note to others, make sure you ground the 7812 otherwise you won't get 12V to SB35.

If I hit the detect button in jkeys, it selects 301-3100 from the model list & shows the proper ird info for the fix. If I manually select the 301.013 Dual from the model list, it shows the old info. I'm currently using the 301 & 501 version from mili's file downloads.

I'm getting the 020 error when I put the atmega in. When I check system info, it still shows the old ird number.

I think I've downloaded just about every version of jkeys available but I'm not doing or using something correctly.

So my questions are...

- Does anyone have this fix working on a 301.013 dual TSOP?
- What version of JKEYS are you using?
- Does anything in my description above stand out as an incorrect procedure?
- Do I need to apply a script in FlashEdit? There isn't one for this model ird.

I feel like I'm really close with this thing but I'm just missing something simple. I got a 301.013 single up & running a couple days ago. I thought I was doing the same thing with this unit but obviously something ain't right.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
lud
