I have a 301.013 (with an avr-x). It has an antenna connection on the back that looks like I could connect my rabbit ears to and get my locals. But just connecting to it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know how this feature gets turned on?
hit the TV/Video button on remote control ....

Thanks, that worked. Feel silly. But I only get channel 3. Changing the channels actually changes where I was on Dish and not what's showing on the antenna. Is that because I need a separate tuner into this connection?

I use to switch to my VCR for locals.

On my HD IRD I too have a terrestrial antenna hook-up. I then had to go into my IRD setup next to the switch test I have a section to scan the locals (both Analog and Digital) Just like cable ready TV's. Works great for me, even displays them on my Guide.
Have FUN Testin'
