Hi, I'm running cemu but all I get is message 076 "this event is lock to view enter your password" when I press ok I get the title but screen goes black and no sound all channel except music station. What is wrong with my setting can someone help please

You need to unlock your system (I believe it's in Menu 6-3..), then it will no longer request for passwords. With regards to the black screen, make sure your keys are up do date.

Regards.

Thanks Gio, for the keys what are the new ones and where do I change them? Is it in the cemu.ini or where cause I saw keys up to 32 digits long insted of 16. Thank-you very much

gio111

Current working keys are:

D863=3601D531EF9FEF3333D8AEE0397A7861 D873=DCB0E5194CA6DC75867011C9D69F16AB

Open up your Dish.bin with NagraEdit, chose Eeprom tab, goto line D860, move over to 863, and write these keys there. Then do the same for D873. When u save the file, chose save as, (then chose all files), and then save, u will replace the original Dish.bin, hope that helps.

No need to touch cemu.ini

You can also goto the the DataEditor Tab, and enter key 0 at parity 1, then continue with key 1 in that order.

Sorry to bother again Gio but when I open dish bin file with Nagra edit 4.1 it ask me what rom it is if I say rom 3 theres no line D860 and if I say rom 10 I get this D860: 01 01 00 C2 F3 C8 33 34 1D 3E 93 85 30 2D 0A B1 | ...ÂóÈ34.>“…0-.±
D870: DA EB BC 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 | Úë¼.............
D880: 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 00 A5 79 B3 82 B0 55 FB I dont have any lines 863 or D873. could it be that its not a good dish bin I'm taking the one in my cemubevn2 folder. Thanks again

gio111

No problem FireNeg, I think you're actually quite close to get CEMU going. Here is a copy/paste of the working keys:

D860: 01 01 00 36 01 D5 31 EF 9F EF 33 33 D8 AE E0 39

D870: 7A 78 61 DC B0 E5 19 4C A6 DC 75 86 70 11 C9 D6

D880: 9F 16 AB 00 00 00 01 01 00 A5 79 B3 82 B0 55 FB

Open your Dish.bin in Nagra, and chose rom10 (that's what we are emulating). Now go to Eeprom tab, and go down to line D860. Now 3 digits to the right is D863. You'll notice it starts with 36 01 .... now that's your Key 0. Now look at D870, 3 colums over is D873, DC 80... that's key 1 . So if you basically just copy the above numbers in those 3 lines to your lines, you will have a perfect Bin. I tried to Upload the bin myself, but I keep getting errors uploading files to this forum ...

Let me know if you need further help.

Once you have changed your bin, choose file, save as, then do not save as rom 10 or rom 3, chosse the little arrow in the save area, and chose all files .*., it will automatically save over your original Dihs.bin. Then double click Cemu, you should be off and going ...

Thanks Gio the keys are change as you showed me to, Thanks for the clear info, but now since I dit the master reset menu-6-3-info-><-tv.video and deplug receiverso it wouldn't request password anymore the cemu wont start rooling again sat is staying on stand by for sat signal and I checked my signal strenght and its at 95. I tried unpluging for 30 min. rebbooting computer, taking card in and out a few time but notting works. Thanks

12-18-2005, 07:08 PM
If you go to System info, then click ok, your receiver should bring you to error 19 (within about 20 seconds). If not, I resolved that problem by programming an Atmega with any .pfg with card number S00000..., it should then acquire sat signal, and then u should then be able to get Cemu going again.

I got it to roll again by reprogramming my avr3 with an old navapo, reprogramed it with n2-0001-ird2pcm, now its rolling still got music but all other channel request a password then I only have the title and blank screen. Thanks gio

FireNeg, download the working dish.bin file here:

http://www.zip150.com/download.php?f=bqri43a5a5f986ae8

Also, you must have the checksum fixed file to program your Avr, or else it will give you errors.

Let me know.

gio111
12-18-2005, 08:28 PM
Better yet FireNeg, just go here and run Cemu, without changing anything:

Would you be so kind as you have been to tell me where to get it or give me a link or send it to me PLEASE. THANKS again.

Sure, here you go:

http://www.zip150.com/download.php?f=spca43a5b149bc648

Just erase your AVR board 3 times to be on the safe side, and full monty.

Thanks Gio for all the files and help, but its still not working , I get stuck on stand by for sat signal and cemu doesn't wanna roll, I'm out of idea , hope you still have a good 1 for me. in the sys. info I have all 0000 in smart card and the new card ready is green. thanks

FireNeg, I guess I couls just suggest trying to unplug / plug receiver, and try to run CEMU, it is sometimes a little tricky.

FireNeg
12-19-2005, 01:01 AM
Gio been there done that for like the past 3 hours with no luck, if I flash my card with an old navapo I need to start cemu or nothing happens but cemu doesn't roll then I get music but black everywhere else with error something saying I need to change my card, the password they ask then black screen but even if I shut down cemu I can switch channel and all. but when I run your cemu with your checksum file and your dish bin. all I get is patience patience patience wait sat signal. Its not my cable I am sure, and not the computer its a p4 2600. I am putting my tsop that I used to see if you could check if its ok, cause I didnt use the 1 you sent me yesterday when I opened the receiver there was only dish sat and no bev. Thanks again

gio111
12-19-2005, 01:13 AM
FireNeg, that TSOP looks fine to me. To correct the acquiring sat signal, I use an Atmega at S000...., then once signal acquired, I input my AVR board (it usually says error 19..., that's what it's supposed to say), and just run CEMU.

Also, I believe you are trying to run Bell Fireneg, not DISH, right? (sorry, long thread ...so I figured i'd ask).

FireNeg
12-19-2005, 01:14 AM
This is the tsop you sent me yesterday.

Yes gio Bell here, my brother pass me an atmega card with programmer but he's now gone for the week so he cant help me, so I could try doing what you tell me to but I never programed an atmega, tried but not the same as avr, or because I dont have the right file, tried to find some but couldnt find any that I could program like an avr. Could you help me with the program and how to. Thanks

12-19-2005, 01:39 AM
I apologize Fireneg, that last TSOP with 089p(means Dish) is for DISH, the TSOP you posted is the good one.

The Atmega card programs just like the AVR, just use Jeepers from this link. Click Atmega 128 / erase flash eeprom, then just change Cam id to S000000, and full mounty:

http://www.zip150.com/download.php?f=kiyz43a5f24592e38

Sorry you wasted time with that TSOP.

FireNeg
12-19-2005, 01:54 AM
no problem for the tsop , but I'm thinking !!! the dish.bin that you sent me and the keys they must of been for dish. could that be my problem???

No, although it's names dish.bin, I confirm I'm running it on Bev A1, no problems.

I did it with the atmega card got the signal had music channel on but when I put back avr in cemu still wont run this is only what I get attachmentSorry to have waiste your time you have been very patient and helpful it is so sooo much appreciate I thank-you very much. Just sad cant get the cemu to roll. Thanks alot

gio111
12-19-2005, 02:30 AM
No problem FireNeg. I always get CEMU running off error 19. So basically, I acquire Sat signal with my Atmega, then replace it with my AVR board (emu cale connected and all), then I do System info, Ok, then it goes back to black screen and get error 19 within 20 seconds, then just double-click cemu executable and it starts. But I always get it going from error 19, or else it gave me in the past red channles and black channels, if that can help.

FireNeg
12-19-2005, 02:40 AM
When I get signal with atmega, repace it with avr press info then ok I get ATTENTION 015 sat signal and stays there forever even if I take avr out, never gets to the error 19

gio111
12-19-2005, 02:43 AM
Guess I could just suggest trying to go to 198, then to another black channel, and wait a bit (I presume your Cemu is not running yet when you are doing this procedure...)

FireNeg
12-19-2005, 02:46 AM
no cemu is not runnung waiting for the error 19 to show up like you ask

Do you mind answering another Q about Cemu? AVR, working Cemu (DN), but almost every channel is Red (error 014). NASA channel, 101, and few more have sound & video, All channels are listed (some blue, most Red). What do i do now? Patches? Tiers? How?
Anybody? Please... I'm exhausted...(:

Your Eeprom is a virgin CATA, which is fine.

Fireneg, yes. If you open your TSOP in a HexEditor, you will see it's perfect, your second RSA key looks like it should:

6E F7 E8 A1 38 BA B5 CD 7D C7 FD 69 66 CF C5 6D
59 F1 1D B1 B4 5C 0B 61 D5 D1 23 23 0B 5C 85 31

So no problem there, your TSOP is fine.

Hi, Gio if your around, this to tell you that it still not working. and a few questions. I saw in another forum that only the 2 first letters as long as the eeprom matches like in CATD tsop only CA matters so I could take a CASA. but he was talking about 3100 receiver dont know if its the same for 2700, because I'm gonna try with another tsop and modded CATD cant find them anywhere. And if we put a virgin tsop in and then let it upgrade by connecting it to the dish would that work with the cemu. Thanks

gio111
12-20-2005, 03:55 AM
Hi Fireneg, yes, many people claim to have it going with only the 2 first build letters. Kinda busy tonight, + a key change just occured, but check out rom10x in the meantime, you can try a CATA or CASA TSOP.

gio111
12-20-2005, 04:04 AM
Perhaps one important thing I left out Fireneg, check your system info after you change your TSOP, and make sure it ends with an N, not an F, or else it's corrupted. So you are looking for something like CATA-N, not CATA-F.

FireNeg

Hi FireNeg, happy you got one receiver going.

YES, those are the correct keys at this time.

For the Eeprom, it's quite simple to just change it to your build config. You just open it up in a Hexeditor, first line top right, put your build config, example, CATA, and write it to your 2700.

FireNeg
12-21-2005, 03:43 AM

Hi Gio,it seems that I have a eeprom problem. went to myfriend and done 2 3100 and a 4700 all working good that the tsop downloaded had the eeprom included, and 2 2700 that are not working that the eeprom didn't came with the tsop. Can I take the eeprom from the 3100 and just change the letters in hexeditor or with flashedit 2.1 in the box fix CRC do we put a check in or no check. Thanks again for all the help your given me

gio111
12-22-2005, 02:13 AM
FireNeg, in FlashEdit, open your 2700 TSOP, then yes you can click fix CRC (has to be green, not red), then SAVE, and chose Virgin Eeprom. You now have an Eeprom that matches your TSOP build config, and you just need to write it to your 2700.
