rolling keys w/rom102

need some direction: ive gotten to the point where im now confident to try & use the rom 102 (rev 103), i opened them a while ago. what i have going on is--my 2700 receiver is showing "not auth." screen. ive flashed it w/ an unmod. tsop that i put the 102 ird # & keys on . i loaded the card w/gopherx
32 & i also tried the 42 3m , i put 102 blocker v16 on . the receiver has been on quite a while & still nothing but "not auth." . the keys arnt rolling right ? what did i miss? ive studyed the forms for weeks but im not sure where im messing up at.

Sounds like you`ve done it correctly. Back to basics, make sure IRD# and BK`s are correct in TSOP.

Thanks Dave411, Thats What Im Going To Do , Upon More Reading It Looks As Though There Is Some Trouble W/v16 Blkr., Reading Where Someone Switch His V16 To V17b & Keys Rolled.

Both v16 and v17 roll have v16 up on Bev and v17 up on Dish both rolling keys fine....:)

I Got It Finely ! I Was Moveing Too Fast, I Retraced My Steps, & Started Over, I Put Patch On BuT Forgot To Write It To Card--duaaaaa. Thanks Guys.

I Also Need A Litle Help With Rom 102 Opened Card Programmed With Gopherx Put Ird And Bk On 301 .. All I Get Is Not Auth .... Do You Have To Mod The Tsop For Use Of Rom102 ....

Are you using the latest tsop load with the 2700? 834? or 851? Unmodded right?

Did you have to reprogram the receiver with a special IRD # or box #?

i used 831, & theres a special key to put on receiver , along w/card I.D>

I used "Dish only Dec 16 3m rom 102.bn102", changed box key , Ird #, Checksum. Manually updated the card keys. All works except still getting "not authorized to view channel, please wait". Current idea keys are AF 0C BD 48 D8 51 6D DC FE 44 D6 0C A3 65 59 42 and FB D9 F2 D9 D6 C9 EF 7A 57 AD 32 24 67 42 6C E6.

you may have to leave card in ird for a few minutes to update with new keys put chanel 101 on seems to update card faster

Okay.........left the card in for 15 min.....no more "wait for authorization"...now just black screen on every channel. Acts like box keys are wrong. Double checked... 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63..............???????????

Find and use the GopherX 42 Tiers and PPV - V16 Blocker. #1 in the 10X download section.

First you need to unlock your card. Then read the card. Click on Tools, Clean Codespace and then write back to the card.

Now open the Gopher bin, it isn't a patch, and write that to your card. Watch TV.

Does gopher 42 need a mooded IRD? I'm using a 2800 with 834 bin unmodded.

No, it doesn't need to be modded other than putting the correct Box Keys and IRD # on it.

Penga has posted that there is an error with the V16 and V17 blocker. He suggests to go with the V19 now. Supposedly there is a certain type of EMM that the v16 and v17 won't block.

Ah, thought that was only with the V17. I'll see if I can find some other bin files for them to use.

i always let the card roll the keys before i put blocker on

and u might try erasing sec 5 and let it update if u have had a rom 10 in that reciever

Erased SA5 of my 2800, restreamed, still the same....."not authorized......"

Did you change the IRD # and Box Keys?

And which error are you getting? 005 or 022?

He probably got the 005 error. Needed to let it sit to let the keys roll.

After I restreamed the SA5 sector (with the card in the receiver) I let it sit for about 20 minutes. It kept alternating "not authorized...please wait or change channel". After 20 minutes, everything started working. I added locals with a patch and it all works now! According to the card dump. Keys changed plus a few other lines.....looks like version numbers of some sort changed from the original bin file.

wHERE YOU ABLE TO GET PPV's? I GOT EVERYTHING WORKING ON MY 301.010 except PPV and Porno. It keeps asking if I want to make a purchase! I'm useing Rom 102 v16

my 102 card is going in 301-10 but this card when i put in same ird and boxkey 2700 receiver . it says your card is not autherised . its now more than a hour. i dont know where i do some change . thanks
