View Full Version : Autoroll possible w/blue ROM 10?

I'm a little confused about some of the autoroll files I've been seeing, could someone help me understand? For over a month now, my 501 has been working with a blue ROM10 and the
FULLY OPEN ROM 10 TO 10X.bn10, just updated the keys yesterday. I open the card with a password.
Saw the "Penga autoroll patch" and thought perhaps I could just add this to my card and forget about putting in new keys manually. But this seems to be for files that require the D2C unlock, something I've never used and I'm not quite sure what it does (replaces password? only for yellow cards?).
So is there an autoroll patch for the bin I'm using, or do I have to replace this bin with something new to get autoroll, or do I have to get a yellow card, or what? Thanks for any advice!

the auto roll is not for the rom 10 (blue card) from what I understand that card will not roll with nagra2 there is not enough code space with everthing that had to be done to make it work with nag2. as far as the d2c file I am not sure how you got back into a rom 10 with out using the d2c file cause nagra edit4.1 will not read a rom 102. the d2c file changes the card back to a rom 10 so it may be cleaned and reprogramed. hope this helps
There will never be auto roll for the rom10. Some say not enough space but other say that it won't proccess the N2 EMM.

amen to that beaver6
everyone said it was impossible to crack nagra2
then it was impossible to dump yellow rom 101 nagra2 card
then it was imposible for fta to run nagra 2
nagra 2 emulation was impossible
then it was impossible to run nagra 2 on rom 10 (blue nagra 1 card)
not neccessarily in that order but i think i made my point
damn i love it when things are impossible! now especialy since it is still impossible to crack p4/p5 for directv! OR IS IT not ?????????????????????

Thanks guy. Thought maybe the autoroll was only for yellow cards.
@dish_ninja - When I need to edit the card, I enter the password in NE4.1. You get an error message, but the card opens and you can read and write.
Works fine, my only problem is channel loss, every day or two I lose several channels and can only get them back by removing the card and then reinserting. Don't know if this problem has something to do with the card or the ird or what. Maybe should try one of the bins needing the d2c?

I agree, N2 has dirtiers/betta/more PRON! Well last time I checked...Dave's stuff never showed rear entry...
The only things I miss about dave was the Football season pass and the fact that my dave receiver was better, had 5.1 optical output.
oh well...i can live wit dat

I think I would be careful saying that N2 was cracked. Everyone seems to be running cloned machines. All the same CAM #'s IRD #'s and Boxkeys. I think this is going to be a temp. thing. All be it, good job guys on getting this far.:o

All be it, good job guys on getting this far.:oI am running my own info on my rom10 and am very close to having my rom102 running with it's own info. Many other peolpe have there own rom102's (from the orignal receiver running) with there with there own info. They reactivated their teirs. What makes you think that it is not. N2 is still very young and writing a 3m with your own info is very close. So far I have a rom102 that I just have to add the teirs to get it going with my own info. I don't have the receiver this card came from or it would be done and running. Stuff is just so new now that it is going to take time and everyone will be using there own info.

I get into my rom10x without the d2c file all the time. the d2c is for the penga a version fix the b version does not require the d2c. Just go into nagra edit remove card lock type in the password and do one step clean and the card is at revA16.

I don't use the "b" version, of the file thats interesting to know I thought both required the d2c. thanks for the info

i have to disagree. i know of someone who is up with blue card and it is autorolling. i too read everywhere that rom10 will not autoroll but this one is. the bottom of the card reads AA-03 which as far as i know it is a rom 10. when he goes to sys info however it displays DNASP 105 Rev 101. to me that would tell me rom 105?! he did go to a dealer to get his dish back up so i don't think he has a public script. so autoroll for rom10 must be possible and we just have to wait i guess

Rom 10 Holds Several Keys, The Current And An Additional In The Stream, So When The One Expires It Goes To The Next, Wich May Last For Quite A While But Eventully It Will Go Down From The Keys Needing Updating.like Atmega Key00-01 + Aux 00-01

Penga says that autoroll will never happen for rom 10 and I tend to believe him. You cant fit the info in to achieve true autoroll. It is a lack of memory problem otherwise he would have wrote it himself. I agree with dishman84. This is not true autoroll but what the hell it is T.V.

I haven't tried it, but there's now a ROM10 autoroll file on some other forums, reportedly it works well.
I've seen good reports about both the Dish and Bev versions of autoroll for the rom10's. I bet the rom11's aren't far behind....at least I hope they're not.

DI*H / B*V rom10 and 11 autoroll is out.........Make sure you use ver2 of the rom10 file.
MBATES14 is the man!
Yes, make sure you use the V2 of the autoroll files.

What is V2????
V2 means the second version of the autoroll for rom10/rom11 files. There was an issue with the first version; V1.

Hi JT,
There are quite a few bad results that are forth coming with Rom 10 Auto Roll. I would discourage the use of this bin. I agree with Penga, this bin should not have been released.
rom10 has worked for 7 to 8 months, you only changed keys on it once a month, was that to much trouble. 60 second key changes? how bout chasing emm 64's, those are fun. with ird melt downs. cant you all see, sometimes its better for all. rom 10 is not a dent, its bigger than that. every rom 10 was replaced with a yellow cam, where did all the rom 10's go? on the shelf, it like they handed everyone a free card to test with. rom 10 is in every house that had a ird before the swap, can same be said of fta? no. avr? no. but rom 10 or rom 11, yes. anyway, its a mistake. and the ird ecms that come with autoroll working is around the corner. you all remember them?
Seaboard,
I dont think it will be a problem with the code. It looks good to me. The issue seems to be that it was released publicly. When ecm comes it will be for all rom 10's regardless of autoroll. Autoroll just made rom 10's a viable target.
