BEV ROM 10 TO 102 success! Walkthrough guide for newbies

After hours of reading threads to try and make sense of the process I finally managed to program my ROM 10 fully opened on BEV! All thanks to the information I was able to find on the forum.

Feels good to succeed. :D Thanks to the moderators who know what they are doing and the newbie questions. What I noticed though is that the information is spread out all over in different threads (sites) and often is meant for people who already having a good working knowledge in testing. There isn’t a complete step by step guide for complete newbies. I have written out a detailed walkthough of how I did it and uploaded the file to the public download as STEP BY STEP HOW TO CONVERT A ROM10 to ROM102 FOR BEV. That's from the perspective of a total newbie. I’m thinking this might help the other newbies out there. Hopefully there isn’t too much misinformation and if there is, I'm sure the pro's will let me know and I will modify.

Is there anything out there for dish, as in a how to?

As far as I know, the procedure is the same for DISH except that you have to get the right files which are contained in PENGA's 10 to 102 (8b) instead of (8c).
