Pansat 2500A - file recognition Please Help !!!

I just bought a 9 pin serial cable to USB for my laptop.. I am trying to download the latest autoroll bin file on my Pansat 2500A. When I load the bin and click on send , the message comes up and says , can't open serial port and file not found..Please help !!! Thanks in advance

How many usb port does your laptop have? If it has 2 ports, you have to try changing the port #. Try port #1, start download. If it won't work then change to port #2, then try again. Do not pul it out of the laptop, you just change the port # in the computer. Make sure you hook up the cable to the receiver before you start up your computer. Good luck.

I have tried those options too. It still keeps telling me the same thing. My brother emailed those files to me, do you think that could the problem?

You can try download the file from the internet right into your laptop.

I think the problem could be in your Lap, depend on the windows you are using, but check the com ports in Control Panel - System and check if the port is Enabled and make sure the files are in a folder somewhere in your lap, NOT in a floppy, please, let us know!!!
