Hey Guys,

I've carefully flashed my TSOP and atmel again and this time used the BK's and IRD# everyone is using. CEMU is comminicating well, the atmel appears to be flashed properly and is showing up as a rom101. The IRD# and CAMID are also showing up, and I'm able to dowload the guide. I patched dish.bin with the latest keys and didnt touch anything else.

Everything seems to be working perfectly, except for no video!... just the previews and freebies.

I've flashed my TSOP so many times its about to melt :P and tried many flashedit scripts and premodded TSOP files. It's got to be the TSOP mod I'm thinking....anyone want to try modding it for me? I can't find the pre-modded TSOP for my build config (DAMA in jkeys, DAMD on sticker).

301.13 single TSOP sw@p209 external 2313/232 max/mel DOS Cemu "ready to go package"

Thanks everyone,

Taipan

I had the same problem, what sort of EMU are you running?

With a 1 chip I had the same thing, all was perfect, just only non-encrypted channels, also I was running CEMU in w32, in a dos wiindow, once i got the pure dos version of cemu and booted off a floppy it started working, but the 1 chip EMU's seem to freeze a lttle too often for my taste,

Let us knw how you come out

I think I need to fix the crc properly with IRDr, anyone know where I can find it? The version I have crashes in xp.

Thanks,

Taipan

Thanks for everyone's help,

I was able to get my emu going by fixing the TSOP crc using IRDr. Anyone who mods their own TSOP should use IRDr to fix the crc before continuing. Rename the attached txt to zip.

Thanks again,

Taipan

Could this be explained some more? I'm having the same problem as taipan and when I flashed w/download modded TSOP for my 4900 it acts dead - not even power light. So, I try to mod my own TSOP wflashedit and RSAnew-2700-2800-3700-834pONLY.fs patch. What is IRDr and can it be used to fix the crc?

Veronica,

Flashedit didn't seem to fix the crc correctly for me, so after applying the script to the receivers TSOP image I ran IRDr to fix the crc properly. You should be able to find Irdr in the file section of this website or another. It's run from DOS with the following arguments... c:\>irdr fepatched.bin -f

Do not select fix crc in flashedit when you apply the patch and remember you don't have to make a virgin eeprom. Make sure you change the box keys and ird# in flashedit (advanced menu) to match those cemu uses:

BK: 87382EC5ACC1047E
IRD#: 0162B382

Good luck!
