XM with HU card [Archive] - Mili's Marauders

I keep getting the "your card is expired insert new card" nag when trying to get xm on a hu card I see many are doing it I just don't know what my problem is. have tried a few different 3m's and same thing. Can anybody offer some help??

Try using a Hughs ird. I get xm with hu.

same here...using a Hughes IRD w/ HU and get sound, no video.....works for me.

KI tried like 10 different hu's get the preview channel great, but all the xm stations give me the your card expired. on both of my hughes receivers. any ideas??

check this out good ole niknak"s post may help[/quote I get xm radio and all the music channels with a first generation receiver and an hu card.i do not know what file i have on the card,been so long since i programmed it.look for an old hu file and load it onto your hu card,sound like you had an activation on your card which expired.
