Change My Dish To D500

Hi there

Couple days ago change my old dish to new one and it is a D500 PRO 2 heads but I can get all channels in the 2 sats 110 and 119, I can watch some channels from 110 and few channes from 119 anybody knows if this dish works with 2 sats or I have to use 2 dish

What receiver are you trying to use?? May need a DP adapter.

it is a fortec lifetime ultra, and I didn't use any adapter just cable from dish to receiver.

maybe you need to re-aim your dish??? Or maybe you need a switch ( =DP adaptor)??? Maybe you need a new channel list???

dp 500 has the switch built in the prob is in your settings
lnb standard
freq 11250
22khz off
disq is 119 #1 110 # 2
plus make sure your using a channel list for dish pro lnbs they are different from legacy lists wing nuts 5.3 is what im using

I have a DishNetowrk 500 with a Quad LNB (2 outs for 110 and 2 outs for 119) and I understand that the SW21 switch is built in. Is this the same as the DP 500?

I have read on another forum that it will not work with a built in SW21 switch??? Is that true, or is it just a matter of my settings on the Pansat 3500S. What i think i have is lnb DishPro, diseqc #2 119 & diseqc 110 #3. SO do I just change the settings to standard lnb and 119 to #1 and 110 to #2 and it should work?

What is Wing Nuts 5.3???

dish 500 dish and dish pro 500 dish are 2 diff lnbs i believe fta rec do not work w/sw21 switch they use a disq switch need to make sure what lnbs you have
wingnuts 5.3 is a chanel list w/options for both dishpro 500 and legacy setups

I have a twin LNB, i thing has a sw built in, and in the heads say DP 500 and in one head say 110 and the other say 119, beside have 2 conectors.

the dishpro 500 difference is the polarty of the transponders also each lnb carries both 110 & 119 load a chanel list for dp 500 lnbs double check your settings to those posted above change if needed it will work also if you like the chanel list you have now you can upload it to your pc and convert to dish pro with chanel master

right now i have 2 single lnbs running into a diseq then down to reciever. 110 is on #1 and 119 on #2. i just got a dish pro lnb that i want to use so i can take 1 dish down. is it as simple as taking the lnb and mounting it on 1 of my existing dishes, run 110 and 119 cables into lnb, get rid of the switch and then adjust the skew for 119?

where I can a channel master and how I can update to dish pro list. Now is working but not all channels, and some time when I 'm watching TV recieve the scambled channel message and then I have to change the channel an go back to the last one to watch again.
Any Idea???

Get that at sharpc.com!!! You can download that list from your receiver, modify it and upload that back to your receiver, everything with Channel Master!!!
